Our worship services are inspiring, Christ centered, and offer practical teaching from God's Word. Our music includes both traditional and contemporary songs that encourage participation. Typically a worship service is 60 minutes from beginning to end.

We are followers of Jesus Christ first and foremost. We have a high view of Scripture and are passionate about learning and living out God's Word. We would be considered both conservative in our theology and contemporary in our approach to ministry. We do have certain Baptist beliefs and practices, and you can learn more about them here.

For parents who attend both a worship service and Sunday School, they bring their elementary and older children into the service with them. Of course, we also offer Sunday morning programs for preschoolers, children, and students that are amazing and have dynamic activities, so we have the friends and fun well covered. But we are also very intentional and strategic. We want to walk with you as you guide your children towards a lifetime of Christ-like living.

That's easy! As you visit a worship service, you will also want to find a Sunday School class. These classes help us make a large church smaller as we connect to each other, build relationships, and do life together. There are plenty of ways to volunteer at Walnut Ridge and we will help you find a great place to serve.

Absolutely. Sunday School is the heartbeat of relationships and growth at Walnut Ridge. Classes are offered for everyone from infants to seniors. In addition to building friendship, classes follow a discussion-based book-by-book study of the Bible. Anyone can visit a Sunday School class.
