MISSIONS AT THE RIDGE
Walnut Ridge Baptist Church is a mission minded church. We desire to be actively engaged in living out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) and the greatest commandments (Matthew 22:37-39) in our community and world. We endeavor to demonstrate our love for the Father in how we love others. Loving all others is a trait of a true believer of Christ. We try to see others through Jesus’ eyes and genuinely show compassion to them regardless of their circumstance or status in society.

We are compelled to share the Good News of Christ both locally and abroad. This Good News, His love, grace and sacrifice on the cross, is for all people. We believe that Acts 1:8 reveals a strategy for applying the Great Commission when Jesus told his disciples, “You shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and even to the remotest parts of the earth.” In that same way, we endeavor to meet the physical, material, and spiritual needs of our local, regional, and international neighbors when possible
