Learning-based childcare is offered on Sunday mornings for children from infants through Pre-K. Friendly volunteers spend quality time with preschoolers so that parents can attend a worship service and an adult Sunday School class.

Wednesday Nights
The Preschool Ministry offers a semester-based program for preschoolers so that parents can attend an adult Ridge Class, go to choir practice, or volunteer in our Children's or Student Ministry.

The Ridge Playground
Walnut Ridge has a large indoor playground that is open during the summer and other special dates during the school year for the community to enjoy.

Ridge Kids Early Childhood Preschool

Ridge Kids Early Childhood Preschool is a state licensed, weekday program for ages 1-5. Located at Walnut Ridge Baptist Church’s 360 Campus.
OUR MISSION
To provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow spiritually and academically.
We are a ministry to our community alongside Walnut Ridge Baptist Church.
HOURS:
Monday - Thursday, 9:00 am- 2:30pm (semester-based)
Tuesday - Thursday, 9:00 am- 2:30pm (semester-based)
FEES AND TUITION :
Registration Fee: $125
Supply Fee: $125
Due in September and January
Monthly Tuition :
$335:: students who attend 3 days a week
$435:: students who attend 4 days a week

Ridge Kids uses the “WEE LEARN” curriculum published by Lifeway Christian Resources. Our weekly lesson plans are age appropriate and include the developmental areas such as science, math, art, literacy, crafts, music, physical education, chapel and more. We strive to instill important Christian values that help your child with the journey of life.

Are highly trained and experienced in Early Childhood Education. All of our staff are background checked and fingerprinted through the FBI. We participate regularly in conferences and workshops to enrich our skills. All are First Aid and CPR certified. We are a state licensed facility.

By following these practices, our goal is to protect the children and students of Walnut Ridge Baptist Church from incidents of misconduct or inappropriate behavior, while providing excellence in ministry to families. We intend for our church to be the safest place in town. All volunteers who come in contact with minors are screened and trained: (1) Submit to background check every two years; (2) Attend child safety training; (3) Take child safety test upon completion of training. These training materials are available upon request.
