Salvation From His Love

What makes you valuable to God? Your achievements? Your wisdom? Your strength?

This Sunday we explored a powerful theme that runs from Deuteronomy all the way through the New Testament: God's choice of us has nothing to do with what we bring to the table.

Moses told the Israelites they weren't chosen because they were bigger, better, or stronger. In fact, they were the smallest nation. Paul reminded the Corinthian church to look around—not many were wise, powerful, or of noble birth by worldly standards.

So why were they chosen? Why are WE chosen?

Simply because He loves us. Because of the promises He made. Because of what JESUS did, not what we could ever do.

Your salvation isn't a paycheck you've earned—it's a gift that leaves you speechless. Like a stranger paying for your groceries, the only right response is overwhelming gratitude.

On your very best day, your righteousness is still not enough. But His love for you? That's more than enough.

You're not a nobody trying to become a somebody. You're a somebody because HE made you one.
